Who Says Using Your Power is NASTY?
Don’t Be Scared to Read What Follows
Probably you’ve never said it out loud: “Power Has to Be Nasty.” And yet maybe you’ve assumed that is true. Think about it, just for a moment.
For instance, when you sign emails or get off a phone conversation, do you ever say words like, “Blessings of love and light!”
Such a sweet notion — and yet what are you revealing about your own use of power?
Three Clean Resources
Hint: Being human you have three great resources to help you succeed at life, every aspect of life that you hold dear. Clean resources. Honorable ones.
What are these three resources? Love + Light + Power.
Everybody Loves Love
Maybe you’ve noticed.
Except have you also noticed this? Love makes a lousy substitute for using your power.
For instance, ever hear of sweetsy-weetsy behavior that’s downright manipulative?
Everybody Loves Spiritual Light
At least if they’re walking the same path as you. Haha.
But have you ever met a missionary who won’t take no for an answer?
That could be somebody who’s trying to force you onto HIS path. Not respect YOUR personal path.
A power play, in short.
Maybe It’s Time to Start Respecting Your Personal Power, Too
Often when I facilitate personal sessions of Energy Spirituality, the request comes because my client aims to “Use my power more.” As a result, I’ve been learning about personal power for year. And you’ll find the word “power” in many of my books.
Go ahead: Ask yourself right now:
- What happens when someone ignores personal power?
- Versus how much better life becomes when the person uses it.
Truth is, every human alive does have power and can learn how to use it.
In a Way, That Makes Sense
Although using power really doesn’t have to make you nasty, it’s also true that many nasty people do use their power.
Therefore, you might get the idea that using power is bad.
But look deeper. Along with that display of power, guess what the person is not using? Their natural, human ability to love and care about others. Or their natural, human ability to connect up with authentic spiritual light.
Some power players among us even do this: use neither their love nor their light. Instead, they double down on their power.
Since I serve as an Enlightenment Coach, I’ve learned how important it is to mobilize all three of these vital resources: your love and your light and your power.
For spiritual evolution, it matters so much. At the same time, hello! Material success depends upon using your power.
In Conclusion
Find a way to use more of your power. Not just depending on your love and/or light.
How about this, for starters: Why not send people in your life “Blessings of love and light and POWER”? Making even that one simple change can start pointing you (and them) in the direction of Self-Actualization.
