What’s the Prob?
UNSKILLED Empaths suffer in ways that are really, really not necessary. Let’s start to turn that around right now.
What is an empath? Somebody who can GET skills. But no empath is BORN with them. Until we get skills, all of us do loads unskilled empath merges.
Recently I’ve been tweeting as an empath. What an education it’s been on Twitter; education into what’s mainstream now! As a result, I created this blog posts (and some others) about what I know to be true. Versus what’s not.
Best of all, included in today’s article… learn something so weird about certain empath teachers…
Something so weird that you couldn’t make it up.
First of All, UNSKILLED Versus Skilled.
Really, What’s the Prob?
Altogether, 1 in 20 people was born as an empath. Lots of people, right? Sadly, most empaths don’t have effective skills for using their talent. Instead, if they’ve learned anything? It’s a lot of nonsense.
Due to massive confusion today among empaths… Probably you could share today’s post with 10 people you know who are empaths. And very likely, not one of them knows this simple fact:
Unskilled empaths are less effective than other people.
But Skilled Empaths are more effective than other people.
Like, hello! For sure, there’s such a thing as “empath skills.”
What If You’re Still Unclear about the “Big” Problem?
Slow down, please. Reread the previous para that ends with “more effective than other people.” Only this time, don’t skim-read. Actually read, with your mind and heart attached.
- Less effective in life than other people? Due to being UNSKILLED in one particular way? Oh yes!
- Versus more effective? Definitely. that can become true for any born empath!
- Either an empath is skilled… or not. Forget lame excuses like “sorta skilled.” Or, “I know what to do. But I just can’t make myself do it.” (In which case, some treasured-but-faulty empath teaching is probably to blame.)
And really, whichever way an empath’s life goes… amounts to this one simple choice: Skilled or Not.
A choice that’s easily made by any empath! (More on that to come in this article.) Learning Empath Empowerment® — the real deal with its legal trademark — is one way to become a Skilled Empath.
But Hold on. What Is an Empath, Exactly?
By definition, an empath has at least one lifelong gift for directly experiencing what it is like to be other people. Quite simple, really.
Of course, for more precision, it’s useful to consider, which empath gift(s) do you have? (Maybe you have more than one.)

Meanwhile, here’s the beauty part: whether you have one empath gifts or many, you qualify as an empath. The good news is, by learning effective empath skills, you can make excellent use of your talent.
Otherwise, oops! You’re stuck living as an UNSKILLED empath.
Simply Put…
Empath talent is just the beginning. Because we empaths are born with that. No choice required. (Unless you count choosing an empath’s life when you originally made your Life Contract. ;-))
Until and unless you actively study with a good Empath Coach??? Specifically, unless you study with an Empath Coach who is a Skilled Empath… And who can teach YOU how to become a Skilled Empath??? Guess what!
You’re going to suffer due to being UNSKILLED as an empath. Every single day of your life, you’ll suffer in ways that are totally optional.
Erggg, It’s Such a Waste.
Both for you as an individual. And also for your society, which sure could use millions of Skilled Empaths, rather than the unskilled kind.
Why a waste? Hey, let’s start answering that question properly. Imagine this: Suppose that you were born with fabulous talent for music.
Wouldn’t it also help if you could learn musical technique, actual skills? Because musical talent alone isn’t enough.
Even Mozart, the ridiculously-famous musical prodigy, learned from his big sister’s harpsichord lessons. Quickly, he developed skill at playing and composing. Only AFTER he gained those skills… could Mozart fully use his inborn talent for music.
Otherwise? Now imagine something quite different. This time, you’re sitting in the audience at the Kennedy Center. Eagerly you’re awaiting a concert. What if one musician onstage has neither musical knowledge nor good technique, only raw talent? Maybe not such a treat for you or others in the audience!
Sadly, many an empath stops short of gaining the skills that would make a huge difference. Instead, they learn which empath gift(s) they’ve got. (Sadly, what they’re told is often incorrect. ) And then their highly unskilled teacher — flatters them. Like supposedly they know everything now.
As an empath, it’s definitely important (and meaningful) to learn the truth about your empath gift(s). However, let’s count that as useful self-knowledge, motivation to gain actual skills.
Effective skills will improve your quality of life, helping you to get those things that all empaths deserve.
Otherwise, You’ve Got Empath Talent BUT NO SKILLS.
Hey, this literally happens to be my definition for being an unskilled empath, remember? Having a bunch of talent but it’s not used productively yet.
Worth thinking about: What’s the worst thing about lacking effective skills as an empath? Take a wild guess!
I’d say this: You can’t do your amazing art form as an empath, which is Skilled Empath Merge.
And, in case you’ve ever wondered, “What’s the purpose of my being born as an empath?” Seems to me, doing Skilled Empath Merge is the spiritual purpose of having talent as an empath.
By Contrast, What Happens If You DO Become a Skilled Empath?
The sun will come out every day. Plus, there will be this magical thing called rain, which will fall out of the sky; and if you stand a certain way, then stick out your tongue, you can catch some raindrops en route to your mouth. Yum!
Okay, I was joking. Whether you’re an empath or not, and regardless of whether you become a Skilled Empath, you’ll benefit from the good things of human life, including sunshine and rain.
Seriously though, what will change when you become a Skilled Empath? You’ll stop doing unskilled empath merges. And, therefore, you won’t get a certain kind of garbage in your aura, “Imported STUFF.”
Let’s pause here with this new thought. Imported STUFF?
For sure, let’s pause here. Because I’m doing my best to share knowledge systematically with you. And that means I can’t explain everything all at once.
For today, I’m going to leave you with this consumer advice:
Most Empath Teachers Today Are UNSKILLED Empaths
Signs that they’ll likely make your life worse, not better? For starters, making a big fuss about:
- Narcissists
- Energy vampires
- And/or being “drained”
Strangest of All? (Yet True)
Some empath teachers aren’t even empaths. Instead, the “teachers” live in spiritual addiction. (Scroll down, at that link just provided, down to the turquoise box.) Other empath teachers are in extreme spiritual addiction.
Either way, these people have pretty dubious standing to teach people, especially empaths. Since they aren’t even empaths themselves!
Understandably, though incorrectly, they interpret their very “interesting” experiences with their messed-up consciousness lifestyles… to mean that they’re empaths.

Please, help me to spread the word that all empaths deserve to become Skilled Empaths.
