Coupled with steadiness, I find a measured quality. As though Walz’s preference for spending money is opposite to impulsive.

Steady as he goes! Animating the politician’s steady flow of energy while speaking is his sense of service. Seems to me, this quality of service isn’t just to people but also to God.
And, in Gov. Walz’s case, this would mean more than childhood religious training that somehow stuck. Instead, Walz has a modest-and-steady presence of God in all of his chakra databanks.
Gently reassuring, that Divine Presence is simply a given in the politician’s life. At least, it shines out as a definite consciousness lifestyle. One familiar to many of you regular readers of this blog.
Actually, by now, some of you Blog-Buddies may have a pretty clear idea of the name I use for Gov. Walz’s consciousness lifestyle. :-)

How he tries to honor his commitments, make good on every promise! Nonetheless, Gov. Tim feels somewhat ripped apart. So many people make demands upon him, and many of these demands are not made in good faith. (This still puzzles him, just a bit, every time this bad-faith-gimme-gimme version of a deal comes from others.)
For Walz, at this chakra databank, at the time of this photograph… Doing what he set out to do feels impossibly complicated, harshly situational. Evidently, before winning public office, Walz didn’t think that serving as governor would be quite as hard.
Despite the struggle and, with it, a certain disillusionment, the governor persists. Gov. Walz accomplishes what he sets out to do; at least, he accomplishes it as best he can.

Golly, this Baby Boomer remembers those values from growing up in the 1950s!
While some of you Millennials and other readers… You may find words like “sincerity” a bit what? Who cares-ey?
Or maybe the MAGA movement has taught you to value NOT being weird.

Patience! Walz builds patience into his habits when communicating with others. He tries so hard to reach others, giving resistant politicians and voters a new chance every time. Again and again, he slows himself down inwardly. Steadying himself in order to not fly off the handle.
In Conclusion
Even if you don’t live in Minnesota and know this politician by reputation…
And despite this state’s culture, with a marvelous bedrock civility….
Even then, do you realize? Walz serves as governor now, at a time of great polarization. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if he speaks with/to a lot of folks who have already made up their minds. Consequently, for them, obstructing might matter far more than listening.
Maybe that’s why I found that slightly rumpled quality to Chakra Databank #7 of our Leadership Set of Chakra Databanks.
In any case, I learned something unexpected and way inspiring.
Unexpected and Way Inspiring
To this Enlightenment Teacher, it’s clear: Governor Tim Walz is in Enlightenment. Specifically, he’s in Age of Awakening Enlightenment!
Today we get to celebrate one more American who believes in contributing to our government. And happens to have the consciousness lifestyle of Enlightenment. As Walz joins:
- House Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi
- House Minority Leader Chuck Schumer
- And the late, long-remembered, Republican First Lady Betty Ford. (After some famously tumultuous experiences, she moved into Enlightenment toward the end of her life.)
Maybe Not a Coincidence
Gov. Walz’s record as a politician is extremely strong. And he balances the ticket by being decidedly NOT weird.
But here’s something you may find interesting. Recently I read Kamala Harris’ Leadership Chakra Databanks. I find that, by now, she has also moved into Spiritual Enlightenment. (Find that scoop here.)
Funnily enough, none of the other candidates on the short list to become nominated as veep… was in Enlightenment. Nobody but salt-of-the-earth Tim Walz.
