Sorta Psychological Work. Good for You?

Hey, That May Be Nice Self-Branding. Otherwise???

Sorta Psychological Work. When is enough… enough, already?[

Sorta Psychological Work, the kind you make up for yourself.

Especially tempting to slip into while you stay home during the pandemic!

By the time you’ve read this article, you’ll know the answer to this question: Is this “Be your own therapist”:

  1. Usually good for you
  2. Usually bad for you
  3. Or something else?

Maybe You Don’t Call It “Sorta Psychological Work.”

But It Still Is.

Gladys, for instance, was watching some mindless streaming entertainment. Before she even knew what she was doing, aha! She was trying to resolve a painful childhood issue. And you know what? She felt like she was finally getting somewhere.

“Reflecting on my life.” That’s what Joe called it. Well-educated, he’s a professional who lives alone. Seems to him, days are blending into each other. During this coronavirus pandemic, he’s getting soooo bored. Sometimes he sits on the couch, watching sports and huh? Somehow hours have gone by. “Everybody is feeling that way,” Joe told me.

“No, they’re not. How you feel and how you deal, while you #StayHome? Totally, up to you,” I responded. “

But “Poor me,” whimpered Joe. Kidding! Actually she said, “Everybody is feeling that way. I thought you would praise me. Since I’m using the extra time productively, working on my issues.”

Sound Familiar?

Quote-for-quote transcripts here of my Energy Spirituality sessions with clients lately? No. However, what you’ve just read comes close enough. And maybe it does sound pretty darned familiar. Well, let’s take out our brains.

(As it were. Probably it’s preferable to keep them in their nice Carry Case. You know, the original one that came with you. Like it’s decorated with hair on the top.)

Safely, let’s consider. What goes on with auras and consciousness during that Sorta Psychological Work? Since today’s habits become tomorrow’s consciousness lifestyles.

And no, I’m not merely theorizing about all this. Since the skills that I use during sessions including Consciousness Positioning Consults®, Vibrational Re-Positioning®, and pulling out Energetic Holograms.

Another key point? How you spend your time isn’t just measured in digital hours. Instead, minute-by-minute, your chakra databanks change. Automatically reflecting the impact on your consciousness of what you’re doing with your human time.

Basically, the choices add up. How will you use your free will? So it’s no mere speculation, exploring the impact of Sorta Psychological Work. Let’s consider…

Sorta Psychological Work #1.

From TV Trance to “Getting Somewhere”

Of course, we’re going to explore the three examples above. Starting with Gladys. What happens when you sit for hours, watching entertainment. Maybe not as simple as “turning into a couch potato.” Or a “bed potato”!

Since afterward you can get up and walk around. Definitely not anything I’ve ever seen a potato do. You????

Here’s what happened to Gladys, regarding her consciousness. While bored-ly — Is that an adverb? Sure is a thing! While bored-ly watching the show, Gladys slipped into a light hypnotic trance.

Technically, her consciousness became positioned in an Astral Vibrational Frequency. Only slightly higher than a Human Vibrational Frequency. Then, when Gladys started “working on herself”? Automatically her consciousness shifted to an even higher Astral Vibrational Frequency.

Was All this Good for Her?

After a few days or more, doing that… Unfortunately Gladys would move into the consciousness lifestyle of Psychological Overwork. Become stuck in her emotional growth and spiritual evolution. Quite the opposite of good for her!

As for her “insights”? Not to insult Gladys, but the technical term for them was “garbage.” Akin to those brilliant, important insights that.. Oh man! Most people have while stoned on weed.

Incidentally, what’s the best way to develop a practical understanding of vibrational frequencies? Buy and read: The New Strong. Beyond gaining powerful understandings… You’ll learn how to positively thrive. (Sure beats sitting like a lump for hours at a time.)

Sorta Psychological Work #2.

Reflecting on My Life

Hey, that’s nice branding from Joe. Sure made his waste-of-time ways seem awfully productive!

What did aura research reveal? Energetically, what was going on at such times? Like Gladys, he was slipping in and out of Technique Time. Daydreaming in the astral, with the allure of “This is sooo important.”

Was All this Good for Him?

Not unless you consider “wasting his life” to be worthy of this man. Otherwise very accomplished! And with a big contribution he could make to the lives of others. (And himself.)

Sorta Psychological Work 3.

#StayHome Like a Victim

But Make It “Productive” by Analyzing Your Issues

Chiefly, what’s the value for Josephine of analyzing her stuckness? Or blaming the coronavirus pandemic for how stuck she’s become? Giving her a meaningful hobby.

Was All this Good for Her?

Of course not! Is Josephine a trained-and-licensed mental health professional? Definitely not! Unless you count attending the Oprah Winfrey Gold-Standard Certification Program for Therapists. (Don’t google that. I meant that ironically.)

If you were a professional therapist, you’d know this: Mental health professionals don’t fix themselves. Instead they become patients. That is, paying for sessions with other mental health professionals. And why? When therapy works, that’s due to the skills of a mental health professional. Namely, somebody who does not live inside the head of the person seeking help.

In Conclusion

Having helped many clients like Joe, Gladys, and Josephine, hello! Here’s what I’ve found. Yes, I’ve really helped them. But no, I didn’t teach them how to stay inside their heads.

Did You Know This?

Many good people today are sitting around passively. Pretty much wasting their lives. Waiting for somebody else to give them a hobby. Or something to do. Or a social life. And to while away the time, they’re playing therapist with themselves. As if that’s a substitute for learning effective life skills.

By Contrast, Here’s What Can Get You Started

That is, started at having a better life. Not started at doing some extra Sorta Psychological Work. You’re in charge of your life. Not fears in Collective Consciousness about “the pandemic ruining your life.” Set goals daily. Write them down. For example, here’s a complete goal-setting program. (Sure works for me. And takes just a couple of minutes most days.) Get yourself a life. Insist upon it. But what if you’re stuck? Maybe book a session with me. One session might be all you need to start giving some shape to your life. For instance, I helped one client who lives in a tiny studio apartment. Ever since that session, he’s started living (there) in a “7-room mansion.”
