First of All, Who Is Joshua Johnson?
For years I’ve been a fan of Joshua Johnson. Initially I became curious when he was named the host of “1A.” Of NPR fame. Previously, “The Diane Rehm” show owned that time slot on National Public Radio. And why did I feel such a special connection to that show. Since the broadcasting legend interviewed me for half an hour, back in 1989.
Curious about her successor, even before listening to “1A,” hello! I devoted a blog post to reading Joshua Johnson’s face.
Later, I became a fan of his talk show. Yet I had no idea that Johnson was such a dancer. Wasn’t it enough, how he was an uncommonly adept interviewer? Never had I seen him in action until a couple of weeks ago.
Fear not, Blog-Buddies. Soon you’ll get to see him too. Since I’ll be using a video clip from MSNBC, where he works now. Using one frame as the basis for today’s deeper perception research.

Mr. Johnson has moved into his Creativity Zone. Evidently, this mode of living isn’t merely familiar to him. Beyond that, he has learned to switch on at will his full-out creativity: Either ON or OFF.
How he lights up, inwardly, while giving himself permission to turn full-out expressive! Such joy!

Paying attention in the here-and-now. All of us adults have a chakra databank for doing that. Pretty important if you’re conducting an interview!
Naturally super-focused while interviewing, Joshua isn’t exactly living in the present. Since that’s kind of too big.

Throat Chakra Databank for Communicating to be Heard by Others
Will there be a bit of oomph to the person’s way of talking? If so, what type of oomph?
Performance is a spiritual gift for Joshua. Like a form of service to God, where humans happen to be involved.
So many broadcasters, and other performers, are boosting their own specialness. That’s simply what they do. Very human.
By contrast — as it seems to me — Joshua Johnson moves into his Creativity Zone. In the process, he gives his sacred offering. As if, that’s why he aims to be heard by others; in order to serve God by waking them up spiritually.
(Of course, getting human credit isn’t disallowed. Just that it doesn’t seem to be a major motivator for this performer. So unusual!)

High Heart Chakra Databank for Soul Thrill
As a person, is Joshua having a good time? Akin to a playful puppy wagging his tail. (In Energy Spirituality, soul thrill matters considerably.)
Technically speaking, Divine presence fills this chakra databank.
Human speaking, Joshua Johnson is having the time of his life.
In Conclusion
Mostly I’m awed by Joshua Johnson’s courage. Since courage is what it takes, seems to me. It takes great courage to give so much, making him vulnerable.
Haven’t you seen plenty of local news anchors, stiff as a board. Although doing their best, they’re not opening up. No way are they giving that performance all that they’ve got.
At the other extreme, there’s Joshua Johnson. I love him for that.
