Must I Become Famous?
How Else Can My Life Matter in this Noisy World!
Look at that one little violet flower, not really a fancy-expensive-type flower. It’s just one little flower, almost completely crowded out by all those aggressive green leaves.
Yes, aggressive. If you look closely, you’ll see how “aggressive” they are, those rough-tough leaves… when compared to that one tender, sensitive flower.
Reminds Me of Today’s Fame Pressure
You know, every day we encounter so many celebrities. Famous people of every kind. Even fictional Harry Potter — everybody knows his name.
But then there’s you. How can you compete? And if you’re not famous like they are, how can anyone possibly notice you?
This Photo Gives Us a Clue
To my eyes — and maybe yours — that flower looks pretty special. It doesn’t really have to compete with anything else growing on God’s green earth.
Maybe We Can’t See How Special WE Are
But God can. And friends can.
Okay, sometimes the friends may not be perfect. But enjoy the best they can give you because… Very likely, what they manage to give you is the best they can give you right now.
As for God loving you, seeing you, hearing you, feeling the unique specialness of you????
If God had a heart, how could God not notice you?
As for you, you do have a heart, don’t you? Who do you think has given you that heart?
