Significantly, living now can be the start of something far more significant than any news reports. Extra-significant, even if you have high hopes for President Biden’s political leadership. And even if, like me, you’re so thrilled about Vice-President Harris. Who’s both:
- America’s first female vice-president
- America’s first Black vice-president
- And married to Doug Emhoff. Making him our country’s first man married to a president or vice-president.
- Beyond that, he’s the first Jewish spouse… First of any American president or vice-president.
So many political opportunities to make life better in ways that are new! Only we’re just getting started, considering the possibilities. For instance, this next one…
New Beginnings + Accelerated Personal Growth
Unquestionably, today’s new beginning can signify something important for your personal growth. Despite all the drama of the Trump administration, guess what?
Overall your emotional growth doesn’t require drama at all.
In fact, drama can signal the consequences of having made a mistake. Or confusions about what’s really happening in your life.
Especially in this still-quite-new Age of Awakening… Quite often, drama is optional.
So what signals personal triumph, if not “Learning from the School of Hard Knocks”? Here’s the fact of spiritual life that I wish everybody on earth understood now:
Unlike before, in the Age of Faith, your personal growth doesn’t depend on family members.
Or even the Collective Consciousness of your nation.
Rather, you can grow at the pace you choose. Absolutely, personal growth is now your personal choice.

New Beginnings for Your Pace of Spiritual Awakening
For some of you, spiritual awakening is the goal. Actually, though I can help you do better than that. Since I’m an Enlightenment Coach.
As described in this article, I’ve learned skills. Specifically, skills to help you to evolve even more than you may have thought possible.
Every day in this Age of Awakening can become a day of more spiritual growth. Moving you rapidly toward Spiritual Enlightenment.
Beyond emotional growth and personal satisfaction, you can evolve spiritually at the pace you choose.
Energy Spirituality is about all this.
Offering you loads of effective resources to help you move forward along your path.
Alternatively, you might prefer studying with somebody else. Since Energy Spirituality is hardly the only game in town.
What matters most? Give your teacher a chance. Don’t do a mashup of difference systems. Since that will give you less, not more.
On this day of new beginnings, why not recommit to your path!
All that Said, Some General Recommendations… Whatever Your Personal Path
#1. To grow fastest, pay attention to reality.
Make choices that include a healthy respect for reality. Even if you’re energy sensitive and proud of it.
#2. Make specific goals.
Because waiting for “what’s meant to be” is so outdated. In the Age of Awakening, most of us are not satisfied to grow slowly. Or wait passively. Instead, learn a good system for setting goals. Like the one in this book about gaining more success.
Whichever system you use, give it a chance. Daily, not “whenever.”
#3. Learn new skills to support your growth.
Whether you’re talking emotional growth or spiritual awakening… Sure, there are skills.
Believing in pop culture ideas like “Be your own therapist”? That’s for those who are easily flattered.
Did you know, mental health professionals don’t fall for “Be your own therapist.” They go to other professionals.
If you need new skills to support your growth, find yourself a good teacher.
#4. What if you feel stuck?
Probably you are! Go back to your teacher. And ask for recommendations.
If it turns out that your teacher can’t help, only then seek effective help elsewhere.
Equally important, don’t continue to do whatever you’ve been doing… Only strain harder.
Surely you deserve better than to treat yourself like a beast of burden. Taking out the whip, as it were.
For Your New Beginnings, Celebrate the Audacity TO Hope
Upgrading former President Obama’s Audacity OF Hope.
Indeed, there’s a difference. Seems to me, at a certain point all of us need the audacity of hope. Like, daring to dream. Striving to think bigger. Maybe using more creativity.
By contrast, a more developed form of audacity is this new kind. A new kind, suitable to new beginnings: Audacity TO hope can become a daily process.
- When stuck, you don’t surrender. (Age of Faith-style.)
- Nor do you indulge in wishful thinking that, “If I only find my life purpose, that will change everything.”
- You don’t ask your spirit guides to rescue you. Nor do you pray to God or Jesus to fix you. As if these outdated methods were worthy of you… A grownup! Moreover, a grownup living in the Age of Awakening.
- Nor do you go online to find advice. (Just because it’s free doesn’t make it good, you know.)
- Instead, use your audacity to hope. Don’t just binge-watch a favorite show. Or commune with whatever happens to be in your refrigerator.
- Actively figure out how to solve that particular problem. Insist upon finding something smart.
- And then, following that choice, bolstered by everyday hope, take action.
Yes, you can make the most of today’s new beginnings. Take initiative. Following that, keep on learning. Because whatever happens as a result, you really can keep on learning. Which is kind of the point, here at Earth School.
